1. Warranty Coverage
At Balaji Home Decor, we are committed to providing the highest quality home decor products. We offer a warranty for our products, such as sanitaryware, taps, basins, and tubs, for the original purchaser who intends to use them for personal household use in their original location. This warranty is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Duration
The warranty period begins from the date the invoice is generated. Customers must retain the original invoice and any warranty cards to claim the warranty. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of these documents. Any repairs or replacements will be carried out by our authorized service centers.
3. Shipping and Handling Costs
Customers are responsible for all costs related to the transportation of the product and any spare parts, including shipping fees for repairs or replacements. Balaji Home Decor will not be liable for damages that occur during transportation.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damages resulting from:
- Negligence or misuse of the product
- Improper installation
- Exposure to harsh chemicals or corrosive materials
- Accidents or alterations made by unauthorized personnel
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions, including the use of abrasive cleaners or tools.
Additionally, Balaji Home Decor is not responsible for labor costs associated with the removal or reinstallation of the product.
5. Liability Limitations
Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. We do not cover incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use, property damage, or delays.
6. Product Replacement and Repairs
- Parts replacement is at the discretion of Balaji Home Decor.
- If the product is replaced, we will do so with the same model, or, if discontinued, with a product of similar or equal value.
- Replaced components (e.g., color shades or patterns) may not exactly match the original due to the passage of time.
7. Maintenance Requirements
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure proper installation and maintenance. Any damage caused by improper water conditions, like hard water deposits, is not covered under warranty.
8. Product Returns and Refunds
Discounts applied at the time of purchase may not be refunded if products are returned. If a product is returned after applying a coupon, the refund will be adjusted by the amount of the discount.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, Balaji Home Decor encourages mediation before initiating any legal proceedings. All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
10. How to Claim Warranty
To claim the warranty for a defective product, follow these steps:
- Email/WhatsApp your Proof of Purchase, Order ID, and clear images/videos of the defective product.
- Our Customer Support will contact you within 24-48 hours to assist with further procedures.
- Shipping costs for returning the defective product will be borne by the customer.
11. Product Installation Requirements
Before installing products like faucets or basins, customers must ensure their water supply pipelines are thoroughly cleaned and free of debris or blockages to avoid damage to the product.
12. RO Water Warning
Customers are advised not to dispose of RO reject water in regular sinks or drains as it may cause damage to the surface or waste pipe. Use proper drainage for RO reject water.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty for Balaji Home Decor products shall be void and not applicable under the following circumstances:
- Lack of Proof of Purchase
If the original invoice and/or warranty card is not presented to our authorized service personnel at the time of repair, the service will be rendered on a chargeable basis as per prevailing rates for labor and parts. - Improper Installation or Usage
If the product is not installed or used in accordance with the instructions provided in the installation or user manual. - Unfavorable Site Conditions
If the site where the product is installed does not meet the recommended operating conditions specified in the product manual. - Negligence or Improper Handling
Defects or damage caused by improper use, negligent handling, tampering, misuse, or lack of maintenance. This also includes repairs or alterations made by unauthorized personnel. - Corrosion or Rusting
- Corrosion or rusting caused by hard water, toxic sewage gases, or improper cleaning methods.
- Customers are advised to use 304-grade stainless steel for greater resistance to corrosion and rusting.
- External Factors
Defects or damage arising from factors beyond the company’s control, including but not limited to:- Natural calamities (e.g., earthquakes, cyclones)
- Acts of God
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage due to exposure to acids, chemicals, or improper cleaning agents like phenyl
- Use of unsupported third-party components that affect product functionality
- Third-Party Components
Any failure or defect caused by using third-party parts or products not authorized by Balaji Home Decor. - Damage by Pests or Animals
Damages caused by household pests such as rats, cockroaches, lizards, or other animals/insects. - RO Reject Water Damage
Rusting, corrosion, or other damage to sinks or waste pipes caused by consistent exposure to RO reject water. - Unauthorized Purchases
If the product was purchased from an unauthorized dealer, the warranty will not be applicable. - Improper Care
Improper care, cleaning, or handling that leads to damage or defects. - Warranty Expiry
The warranty automatically terminates upon the expiration of the specified warranty period, even if the product was unused during this time.
Note:
This warranty is exclusive to products sold by Balaji Home Decor in India and supersedes any other warranty document or claim.
